GIBUTANG sa heightened alert status ang mga police units sa Luzon ug Visayas sugod Martes sa udto agig paglikay sa posibleng pagbalos sa pagpangatake sa grupo sa Abu Sayyaf.
Ang Philippine National Police (PNP) ug ang Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) nipasaka na sa ilang alert levels sa pinakataas nga status sa Mindanao human sa pagkamatay ni Gafur Jumdail, ang igsoong lalaki ni Abu Sayyaf lider Gumbahali Jumdail a.k.a. Dr. Abu, ug duha sa iyang mga sakop sa lungsod sa Maimbung sa milabay’ng Sabado.
Gimanduan na ni PNP chief Director General Jesus Verzosa ang tanang PNP units nga dugangan ang pagbantay ug seguridad sa tanang vital installations, lakip na ang mga airport, pantalan, simbahan, publiko ug ubang lugar nga tagbuanan nga posibleng target sa teroristang kalihokan.
Gi dugang usab sa tigpamaba sa PNP nga si Senior Superintendent Agrimero Cruz, Jr. nga wala pa hinuon sila nakadawat og tahu nga ang mga Abu Sayyaf adunay planong mo atake sa Luzon ug Visayas.

THE Armed Forces and the PNP have lowered their alert levels as the May 10 elections went generally peaceful.
The military alert was downgraded to blue from red Tuesday night. The highest alert was raised April 29 to ensure the AFP’s preparedness for the elections. It was supposed to be in effect until May 20.
The PNP downgraded its alert level in Regions 1 to 8 (Ilocos, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Bicol, and the Western, Eastern and Central Visayas), the Cordilleras, National Capital Region, and its National Support Units to heightened, from full, at Wednesday noon.
Security forces in Regions 9 to 13 (Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, Davao, SOCCSKSARGEN, Caraga), Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, and the Special Action Force remain on full alert.
PNP chief Jesus Verzosa said the situation nationwide has normalized two days after Election Day.
Col. Ricardo Nepomuceno, spokesman of the military’s Task Force Honest, Orderly and Peaceful Elections, said AFP chief Gen. Delfin Bangit downgraded the alert status based on the task force’s recommendation. (PIA-Bohol)

Butyag sa Malakanyang pinaagi ni Press Secretary Jesus Dureza, ang mga blotters sa kapolisan public record ug kinahanglang ikapa-ambit sa publiko. Hinuon, gipasupot ni Dureza nga buot usab sa Malakanyang nga makita una nila ang direktiba sa PNP.
Hinuon, si Dureza, kinsa usa ka abogado mipadayag nga may mga kasayuran sa police blotters nga dili usab angay ikabutyag sama sa mga salaud batok sa mga bata o kadtong mga may mga kalabutan sa nasudnong seguridad.

The internally displace persons (IDP) can now go back to the places where they came from.
P/SSupt. Rogelio Nuñeza, Deputy Director for Operations of the Philippine National Police (PNP), region 10 assured as Lanao residents have nothing to fear.
According to Nuñeza, PNP-10 has already sent an additional of 168 new policemen and 190 elements from the Regional Police Mobile Group (RPMG) to complement the municipal police forces in Lanao del Norte.
The additional forces will augment the Municipal Police Force, will be deployed in coastal areas and help in the conduct of checkpoints in strategic areas.
The establishment of the checkpoint was in response to the request of the residents after the lawless MILF group attacked the village, burned houses and killed a number of innocent civilians in the area, Nuñez stressed.
