Aris offers free medical exam at DEDVMH for new hires

APPLICANTS who will be hired in the jobs fair set next week in Ubay town will get free medical examination at the Don Emilio del Valle Memorial Hospital (DEDVMH).

Rep. Erico Aristotle Aumentado (Bohol, 2nd District) said this will be his counterpart to the jobs fair arranged by the Young Initiative for the Progress of Ubay (YIPU) headed by Richie Ibale.

Aumentado said new hires are required by their prospective employers to submit results of their physical examination. The results will determine if he or she is indeed in good health.

He said a healthy body is home to a sound mind, hence, the future employees would be highly trainable.

A complete physical examination, however, costs money. To ensure that the new hires will be able to submit promptly their requirements, medical certificate included, Aumentado broached the idea to Ibale.

For the jobs fair, Aumentado said YIPU is still awaiting word from the rest of the invited companies, the jobs available and other information.

This early, the solon hinted that some prospective employers are based outside of the country. They have had good experiences with Filipino employees so that they are looking for more. Others are at it for the first time.
