Sewage lines opened
The sewage drainage that was closed due to the efforts of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and Gov. Erico Aumentado last December, has been reopened.
Without warning and acting on orders from City Hall, city engineers Pianicita Castolo and Servando Acedo supervised the unplugging of sewer connections along intersections at CPG Avenue and B. Inting, M.H. Del Pilar and G. Visarra Streets Monday night.
During the past week, the public had complained regarding the foul odor coming from overflowing fluid at the aforementioned intersections.
The city engineers suspected the plugged drainage in these intersections have caused the underground culverts to burst spilling filthy water on the highway.

This is the immediate solution..The permanent solution would be to force the owner of the source of all of these to install their own treatment facilities…Why let the people suffer for the act of one or two…anybody must present solution instead of just making comments..
In the first place, why these are allowed when getting building permit from the building official it is compulsory to have the septic tank as part of the building..They are analyzed if it is designed to contain the waste that they are making…
Partly liable is the building official..Thus they have the authority to close the establishment thereby stopping the foul smelling discharge..
What it needs to close these businesses or residences?
This is a simply following building code..
