PGMA attends Davos Summit, seek more jobs for Filipinos
President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo will leave for Switzerland on a three-pronged mission: to attend the World Economic Forum (WEF) at the Swiss city of Davos-Klosters, look for more job opportunities in Europe and the Middle East for Filipino workers, and invite foreign business groups to invest in the Philippines.
The Meeting will focus on managing the current crisis and shaping the entire post-crisis agenda, from economic reform to climate change.
After the WEF meeting, President Arroyo will proceed to Milan, and then to Bahrain where she is expected to hold meetings with government and business leaders to discuss more job opportunities for Filipinos and investment possibilities in the Philippines. (PIA/Bohol)
