P19 bilyones nga buhisan makolekta sa “sin taxes”

KAPIN kon kulang P19 bilyones sa unang tuig sa pagpatuman sa buhisan ang gilantaw nga makolektang dugang buhis sa kagamhanan.

Kini kon dugang mapahiluna ang bag-ong bihisan gikan sa tabako o sigarilyo ug ilimnong makahubog, kasagarang gitawag og “sin taxes”.

Usa ka balaodnon karon ang giduso sa Department of Finance nagdto sa duka ka balay balaoranan aron himoon sa mga magbabalaod ang pag-usab sa RA 9334 o ang excise tax law.

Nahibaloan nga nagpabilin ang Pilipinas nga may labing ubos nga buhisan sa tabako ug ilimnong makahubog sa tibuok Asya. (PIA)
