Suspindido na sa Department of Agriculture ang tanang produkto gikan sa baboy nga naggikan sa mga nasud nga kmpirmadong apektado sa sakit samtang gimandu na ni Sec. Yap ang pagpalig-on sa serbisyong kwarantina sa mga pantalan ug tugpahahan aron pugngan ang pagsulod sa mga posibleng makadala sa kagaw dinhi.
Gipalihok na usab sa Department of Health, taho ni Secretary Francisco Duque III, ang iyang mekanismo sa surveillance ilabi na ang pagsusi sa mga pasaherong mosulod sa nasud human gi-butyag sa WHO ang pahimangno batok sa Mexican swine influenza.
