Lacson’s whereabouts unknown, Interpol to track Lacson
Where on earth is Senator Panfilo Lacson?
Senate Minority Leader Aquilino Pimintel said earlier that he (Lacson) cannot be in Australia. Lawyer Ric Diaz, Chief of the National Bureau of Investigation’s counter terrorism unit agrees with the senator, as Lacson’s visa to travel to that country has expired in 2008 and has not been renewed.
Lacson also cannot be in the US because, Diaz said, “his US visa was cancelled after he was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the espionage case involving Michael Ray Aquino and Leandro Aragoncillo.”
Diaz has told the Inquirer that the NBI will be coordinating closely with the foreign intelligence community and the Interpol to track Lacson down.
Lacson flew to Hong Kong on January 5, and Diaz said he could still be in there, or, he could have jumped off to any other Asian country.
