Govt troops receive sleeping bags from PGMA

Government troops will enjoy their sleep in field.

Lt Col Agane Adriatico, spokesperson of the 1st Infantry (Tabak) Division of the Philippine Army, said that three army trucks loaded with sleeping bags have arrived courtesy of President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.

President Arroyo earlier promised that she will provide sleeping bags to each soldiers involved in the law enforcement operation against the lawless MILF leaders Ameril Umbrakato and Abdullah Macapaar alias Commander Bravo and their followers.

Each soldier will also receive P300 worth of cellphone load from the President, Adriatico added.

The recent visit of President Arroyo boosted the morale of the soldiers in the field,” Adriatico added further. (PIA/Bohol)
