Chocolate Hills Slides Down to 5th Position in N7W
The Chocolate Hills slides down to 5th position in the voting for the New 7 Wonders of nature. Palawan’s Subterrainean River is solidly at the number one position virtually ensuring it as the Philippine candidate for the N7W because the contest rules allow only one candidate per country. With just less than 7 weeks to go before the final votes will be cast, there might still be a chance for Chocolate Hills to climb to the top assuming all Boholanos will vote online. However, the pressure is on for Bohol to come up with a good campaign to garner more votes.
The country’s finalist will get virtually free worldwide tourism marketing by the organizers of the N7W and other participating organizations. Boholanos should strive to take the first place to take advantage of the potential opportunities in tourism and support industries.
