Anyone promising ending poverty in next 6 years is fraud – Noynoy
Anyone who promises to end poverty in a full presidential term is a fraud, says Liberal Party standard bearer Noynoy Aquino.
Poverty and other deep-seated problems of the country can not be solved by within a six-year term, he pressed as he said “the President is not a miracle worker”.
Stating his gameplan however if he becomes the president, Aquino said he intends to marshal people power to push for key economic and political reforms and in the crucial fight against corruption.
“What the country needs now is a president the people can trust, someone who will not steal, lie and cheat,” he said. (PIA)
